Annex 7 of NR15 – Non-Ionizing Radiation

1. For the purposes of this standard, laser, microwaves and ultraviolets are non-ionizing radiations.

2. The operations or activities that expose the workers, who are without adequate protection, to the non-ionizing radiation shall be considered unhealthy, as a result of the inspection report conducted in the workplace.

3. The activities or operations that expose the workers to the radiation of black light (UV in the range of 400 – 320 nanometers) shall not be considered unhealthy.
